Using the workbook
Is contribution the same as profit?
No. Contribution is net fees less direct delivery costs, before overhead. It does not include all business expenses and is not net profit or cash flow.
Can I keep adding records and clients?
Add records through the expanding Excel table; the client summary updates automatically. There is no fixed template cap on records or clients. Excel worksheet and device limits still apply.
How do months and duplicate records work?
Enter the first day of the reporting month without a time. Use a unique Record ID and one client/project/month combination per record. Review flagged rows before relying on summaries.
Can I mix currencies?
Yes. Select a currency for fees and credits, and a separate currency for delivery costs. The Summary converts valid records into your chosen reporting currency using your manually entered monthly rates.
Rates are quoted as AUD per unit of currency. Cross-rates use the source quote divided by the reporting-currency quote. Required rates must be unique and positive; missing or invalid rates flag the record for review and exclude it from totals. The supplied rates are illustrative, with no automatic market-rate feed.
Fit & compatibility
Which Excel version should I use?
Excel 365 desktop is the target. Compatibility with Google Sheets, Excel web/mobile, LibreOffice and Apple Numbers has not been established.
Can it connect to my accounting or time-tracking software?
No. This release uses manual input and has no macros, external connections or automatic data refresh. Data imports and custom setup are not included.
Purchase, licence & support
Can I buy it now?
Yes. The Client Fees & Delivery Tracker has a US$49 base price for a one-time digital download. Applicable location-based sales tax may be added at checkout. Payhip shows the final total before payment and delivers the buyer ZIP after purchase.
Can I use it for several businesses?
The licence covers one purchasing business. Editing and backups are allowed; reports and results can be shared within the licence. Resale, redistribution and passing editable templates to other businesses are excluded.
Does it include custom support or accounting advice?
Custom setup, data imports, formula redesign, accounting/tax advice and ongoing reporting are not included. For workbook or order questions, use the support form or [email protected].
